Pembrokeshire
Pictures from my walks in Pembrokeshire
Goodwick is a lively, seaside town located within the beautiful costal and mountainous surroundings of North Pembrokeshire. Its main street of traditional shop fronts is festooned with hanging baskets and colourful bunting during the summer months. The vibrant market twin-town of Fishguard displays a wide variety of shops, galleries and cafes.
Within the area you will find a large range of quality hotels, pubs and Bed and Breakfast accommodation. In Fishguard, try the Manor House Guest House, www.manortownhouse.co.uk located in the centre of town. For self-catering (weekly, winter short breaks), or even Bed and Breakfast, try Pwll-y-Broga guest house www.qualitycottages.co.uk/ref29.htm situated in the heart of the magical Gwaun Valley, just eight miles from Fishguard.
Nestling at the foot of Carn Ingli, the “Mountain of the Angels”, is the enchanting village of Newport. Look up www.newport –pembs.co.uk to find out all information and annual events.
